If you're new to buying racing swimwear, you might think the suit is too small when you first try it on. Don’t worry; this is often not the case. The suit might feel tight and be difficult to put on initially, sometimes taking up to 10 minutes. Be patient and gently work it on.
Here are some tips for ensuring the right fit:
- Double-check Measurements: Measure the widest part of the hips/bottom (most crucial), the smallest part of the waist (relaxed), and for women, the widest part of the chest. Also, measure the body loop for torso length.
- For Men/Boys: The hip/bum measurement is most important. If the waist is larger than the hips, choose the suit size that matches the waist.
- For Women/Girls: Focus on the hip/bum and torso loop measurements. If the hip measurement is larger, choose the bigger size. If the torso loop is larger, go with that size. Also, measure the chest in case it indicates a different size.
